Kapan MAT berdiri?
Berdiri sejak tahun 2006 oleh 2 pendirinya yaitu Tony & Juily ( TJ ). Nama MAT awalnya dari singkatan "Medan Architect Team" dengan tujuan dan harapan walau karya MAT dan brand MAT telah ada di seluruh dunia nantinya, kita tidak akan lupa untuk memberikan kontribusi pada pembangunan kota Medan sebagai kota kelahiran TJ. Dalam bahasa inggris MAT juga dikenal sebagai singkatan dari " Master of Arts in Teaching". Harapan kedepan MAT bukan hanya berkembang menjadi " Design Brand" tapi juga menjadi " Education Brand" yang akan melahirkan desainer-desainer yang bisa membawa perubahan.

Apa itu desain menurut pandangan MAT ?
Desain harus memiliki 4 unsur yaitu berkonsep, berdimensi, berkarakter, dan berfilosofi. Keempat unsur ini tetap akan muncul di setiap jenis desain di dunia seperti grafik desain, fashion desain, interior desain, produk desain dll. Apabila mau menghasilkan desain yang " Timeless Beauty " maka ke 4 unsur ini harus kuat dikarya seorang desainer sehingga menjadi karya yang " master peace ". Inilah kekuatan taksu ( aura yang dimiliki sehingga terlihat menarik setiap saat ) yang selalu MAT berusaha tampilkan di setiap karyanya.

Siapa itu " arsitek " menurut pandangan MAT ?
Dunia arsitek sangatlah luas, sangking luasnya hampir semua pencipta di dunia dapat di kategorikan arsitek. Mengapa demikian? Karena arsitek adalah pemikir sejati yang memiliki hobi mancari solusi atas semua permasalahan, tidak heran seorang arsitek selalu memiliki pandangan jenius terhadap berbagai bidang ilmu diluar dunia bangun rumah dan gedung seperti bisnis, politik , budaya, sastra, filosofi hidup dll. Dari cara berpikir MAT ini maka karya arsitektur MAT selalu berusaha mewujudkan sebuah karya yang bisa memberikan kontribusi terhadap pembangunan daerah dan menjadi tresenter mengarah ke hal yang baik. When is MAT stands?
Founded in 2006 by two founders Tony & Juily (TJ). What is a design according to the view of MAT?
The design must have 4 elements that is the concept, dimension, character, and philosophize. These four elements will still show up in any kind of design in the world such as graphics design, fashion design, interior design, product design etc.. If want to produce a design that "Timeless Beauty" then all 4 of these elements must be strong in the work of a designer to be the work of a "master peace". This is the power of taksu (aura that owned look attractive at all times) that is MAT always trying to show in each of his works.

Who was the "architect" in the view of MAT?
World architects is very broad, the breadth of almost all creators in the world can be categorized architect. Why is that? Because the architect is a true thinker who enjoys capturing the solution to all problems, no wonder an architect has always had a view of genius the various fields of science outside world to build a house and buildings such as business, politics, culture, literature, philosophy of life etc..
